Editorial Policy

The journal Computational Linguistics in Bulgaria publishes articles from all areas of theoretical computational linguistics and currently available resources, datasets and technologies for natural language processing and artificial intelligence. The focus is on new approaches and methods, especially with regard to their application to small and low-resource languages such as Bulgarian, in order to bridge the gap between large and small languages in terms of language technologies.

In addition to full-length research articles, the journal also accepts survey articles, short papers and book reviews.

Only original work is considered for publication, i.e. work that has not yet been published (neither in print nor in electronic form).

Submitted articles are subjected to double-blind peer review via a publication management system. Each article is reviewed by at least two experts in the field of computational linguistics.

The editors of the journal follow the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editors and refer the reviewers to the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.

Articles are published and made freely available to readers under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC-BY 4.0).
